Who we are

Sinhala Debating division is one of the most powerful among others which empowers the members with the skills of expressing their beliefs clearly and concisely while staying aware of current affairs. It creates a comfortable environment to brush up the skills of logical argumentation of the members while ensuring that the graduates have the competency of addressing issues with critical thinking. ‘Clash of Minds’ is annually organized by the division and also ‘Logico’ – monthly friendly debating competition along with the English debating division. ‘Winiwida’ – Panel Discussion is organized by the division on its own addressing the current issues within the community with professionals of the relevant subjects.
